Minnesota Beef Council Reaches Out to Beef Consumers through Pinterest

The community bulletin board has a new name – Pinterest. Beef checkoff organizations are finding this online tool offers a great way to reach consumers right in the grocery store with the exact beef recipes and ingredient lists they want or need. Located on the Internet, Pinterest helps people organize information according to categories – such as gardening, cooking, travel and more. A person who logs on to Pinterest can “pin” or save images or links to websites they like on their own “board.” They can follow other boards that have similar interests. Minnesota Beef Backer Highlights Beef on Two Twin Cities Television Stations

Chef John Schiltz, executive chef and owner of the Lake Elmo Inn, was recently awarded the Minnesota Beef Backer Award from the Minnesota Beef Council for his commitment to promoting and serving beef products in his award-winning restaurant.
